CONTENT & ACCEPTABLE USE POLICY

Keep RouteRoutine focused on legitimate service work.

These rules apply to customer records, service information, notes, photos, uploads, and other activity within RouteRoutine.

Last updated July 17, 2026

1. Permitted business content

RouteRoutine may be used to manage legitimate field-service operations, including customer contact information, service locations, access instructions, job descriptions, schedules, assignments, completion notes, and photos that document authorized work.

2. Privacy and permission

  • Only enter personal information reasonably necessary for legitimate business operations.
  • Have any permission or lawful basis required to store customer information and photos.
  • Do not upload covert recordings, intimate images, or photos taken where a person reasonably expects privacy.
  • Do not use RouteRoutine to contact, track, profile, or surveil people unlawfully.
  • Respect customer requests and applicable privacy, employment, recording, and data-protection laws.

3. Prohibited content and activity

You may not submit or use RouteRoutine for content or activity that:

  • Is illegal, fraudulent, deceptive, threatening, exploitative, or intended to facilitate wrongdoing.
  • Sexually exploits or endangers a child, or contains child sexual abuse material.
  • Promotes violence, terrorism, targeted harassment, or hatred against protected groups.
  • Infringes intellectual property, privacy, publicity, confidentiality, or other rights.
  • Contains malware, phishing material, stolen credentials, or instructions intended to compromise systems or accounts.
  • Attempts to access another RouteRoutine organization, evade limits, scrape the service, or disrupt its availability.
  • Violates sanctions, export controls, or other applicable legal restrictions.

4. Highly sensitive information

RouteRoutine is not designed to store full payment-card numbers, bank credentials, passwords, Social Security or national identification numbers, biometric templates, detailed medical records, or other regulated high-risk data. Do not place this information in notes, customer records, or photos.

5. Photos and uploaded files

Photos must be relevant to the service visit, such as documenting completed work, site condition, equipment, or an authorized issue. Do not upload unrelated personal media, unlawful content, or files you do not have the right to use. Avoid capturing faces, license plates, mail, security codes, or other unnecessary personal details.

6. Enforcement

We may investigate reported or detected violations and may restrict content, disable functionality, suspend accounts, preserve evidence, or report conduct when reasonably necessary to protect people, RouteRoutine, our providers, or the public. When appropriate, we will consider context, severity, repetition, and whether the issue can be corrected.

7. Reporting and appeals

Report suspected violations or request review of an enforcement decision at support@routeroutine.com. Include the organization name, relevant record or date, and enough detail for us to investigate without sending unnecessary sensitive information.
